In Washtenaw County, we have terrific partners, described below.  We are currently working on four projects:

All of this fits into the Sanctuary movement, broadly defined.

We invite your help with a project to gather up information about other similarly dedicated and effective immigrant rights and services organizations: just go to Ideas for New Collaborations and fill out the survey.

The Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights (WICIR) is an organization of morally cWICIRLogoonscious people who are members of numerous community groups and faith-based organizations. We are diverse in race and ethnicity, national origin, language, gender, age, abilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and socio economic class status, and immigration status. We work together in coalition because we understand that the oppression of one group of people endorses the oppression of any group of people, at anytime.
